Alpha and Omega Final Movie Poster

What makes for the ultimate road trip? Hitchhiking, truck stops, angry bears, prickly porcupines and a golfing goose with a duck caddy. Just ask Kate and Humphrey, two wolves who are trying to get home after being taken by park rangers and shipped halfway across the country. Humphrey is an Omega wolf, whose days are about quick wit, snappy one-liners and hanging with his motley crew of fun-loving wolves and video-gaming squirrels. Kate is an Alpha: duty, discipline and sleek Lara Croft eye-popping moves fuel her fire. Humphrey’s motto – make ‘em laugh. Kate’s motto – I’m the boss. And they have a thousand miles to go.

Back home rival wolf packs are on the march and conflict is brewing. Only Kate and Humphrey can restore the peace. But first, they have to survive each other.

Shutter Island Video Game

Casual PC Game Inspired by Paramount Pictures’ Upcoming Thriller, Shutter Island

Merscom and Paramount Digital Entertainment have released Shutter Island, a hidden object, casual adventure game inspired by the upcoming Paramount Pictures’ feature film. Now available for Windows, the game is being launched in conjunction with the film’s theatrical release.

From Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island tells the story of two U.S. Marshals, Teddy Daniels and Chuck Aule, who are summoned to a remote and barren island off the coast of Massachusetts in 1954 to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a murderess from Ashecliffe, the island’s fortress-like hospital for the criminally insane.

In the Shutter Island game, players take on the role of Marshal Daniels and search Shutter Island to try to find the escaped murderess. As the game progresses players attempt to locate other patients who have disappeared during the hurricane.

Players find clues and messages across seven levels and 20 environments, creating unique interactions with characters from the film. The game also contains multiple mini-games that allow players to decode clues and unlock secret areas of the institution. The game reflects the plot of the film, while introducing players to new patients and quests inspired by the film.

“Shutter Island is a fantastic story, it is perfect for a casual game and we are confident the market will love it as well as the movie,” said Lloyd Melnick, Chief Customer Officer at Merscom.

Shutter Island is now available on Windows PC and is rated T for teen by the ESRB.
