Exciting news for fans of industrial music’s Ministry and fan’s of documentaries… The two are going to be hand-in-hand coming in October 2010.
Ministry is the groundbreaking creative force that allowed heavy machinery and raw bass lines to come together with raspy vocals to create music that wasn’t popular on the radiowaves. Led by Al Jourgensen, the band faced many battles during their world tour while Al was dealing with drug addiction.
Many bands have been influenced and the Ministry legacy will live on, especially if industrial music is to stay alive. This documentary has high-expectations for the fan-base and it’s definitely worth checking out, fan of industrial music or Ministry, or just a fan of good documentaries and good music.
And if Ministry isn’t enough, a group of other musicians will make appearances in the film including: Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor, A Perfect Circle/Tool’s Maynard James Keenan (who will star in his own documentary Queens of Country), Lemmy from Motorhead, Korn’s Jonathan Davis, and more…
